FRIESE CLINCHES FIRST EVER CHAMPIONSHIP

Devin and the team clinched there first ever championship this past Saturday night at the Hesston Speedway. Devin entered the event with an 81.5 point lead over Jared Miley. With Miley not showing for the event, Devin was crowned the champion before the 61 lap event. This was a total team effort from the sponsorships to the crew and the big piece of the puzzle Devin's driving and ability to keep the RE Friese MasterSbilt chassis up front for the majority of the year. Devin rolled off from the 6th starting spot and was running the majority of the race following Jason Covert in the 2nd spot. Jamie "the Jet" Lathroum found a spark on his MasterSbilt by Huey mount and hustled it to the front, tracking down Covert. Lathroum held on for the $8,800 to win, with Covert second and Friese coming home a solid 3rd place. Devin and the crew were very pleased with the 3rd place result and happy with a solid season that resulted in 2 wins and several top 5 and top 10 runs. Congratulations to the top 10 in UFO point standings. The season is over for Friese Racing and plans are unknown for 2012. Devin and the team would like to thank ALL of the sponsors for making this a championship season and we hope that all will be back on board for 2012. See you back at the track in 2012.
